As another school year comes to an end, we are already looking forward to the next school year with wary wallets. Here's some uniform deals out there right now that can save you money!

Multipack Shirts

Multipacks are essential for kids in primary school who are always coming home with mysterious stains or dirt! M&S, Tesco and Dunnes Stores offer affordable 2 Pack Shirts in a variety of colours and Next offer lots of different styles for girls especially. Arnotts provide school specific items.

Jumpers & Cardigans

Arnott's have a wide range of school specific uniform items if you are looking for a specific school jumper with a crest. Dunnes have unisex jumpers and girls cardigans available in a great range of 8 different colours while M&S offer the same if only a little more expensive which means the quality may be better. Next also have a range of v-neck jumpers and vest jumpers in 6 different colours

Polo Shirts

Most schools request that their students wear polo shirts for P.E. Like regular shirts, you can pick up polo shirts in multi packs at most big retailers including Dunnes, Tesco, M&S, Arnotts and Next. Many of these outlets also provide a range of joggers and sweatpants while Arnotts provide school specific items.

Skirts and Pinafores

School Skirts and Pinafores are tricky to buy with some school uniforms having rare colours such as green or red. Most big retailers, like Next and Tesco, stock basic colours such as black, grey or navy but only Dunnes and M&S seem to stock a wider variety of colours including maroon/wine, forest green, brown and blue in both skirts and pinafores. Arnotts provide school specific items.

Trousers

Trousers can be difficult to buy for growing kids that may stretch in a matter of months! M&S have a 2 pack of adjustable waist trousers which range from 2 years to 36 inches while Dunnes offer single pack trousers ranging in size from 3 years to 31 inches with adjustable hems that can be let down for extra length. Tesco have both single and 2 pack options available for trousers with reinforced knees and adjustable waists from 4 years to 16 years, although be warned, their sizes are small!

Shoes

Primary school kids can grow a full shoe size in a short space of time! Next offer a good range of school shoes that are available in half sizes, a god send for parents! Both Dunnes and M&S have a wide range of shoes for boys and girls with velcro straps. Dunnes shoes are made with easy to clean material and M&S shoes have scuff resistant material to make them look good for longer.

Schoolbags

Both M&S and Dunnes have a good selection of schoolbags for both boys and girls. Next have a range of affordable, branded schoolbags like Starwars and Converse. The M&S schoolbags are more suitable for younger primary school kids in both style and make but for the older kids, the Dunnes range provides sturdier schoolbags with better back support. Dunnes and M&S also have a fun and cute range of lunch bags too!

Socks & Underwear

Next have a lot of multipack options for sock but they are only available in generic colours like black, white or navy. They would suit boys but not girls whose school unifroms require knee high socks, plus the Next range of socks is a little pricey! Dunnes do a great range of multipack options for socks and tights in all different colours and styles at affordable prices while M&S have a range of tights in different school colours, they do not have the same colour range for socks.
