Christmas Party Time!

Decorate!

Hang festive red and green streamers around the room to create that Christmas atmosphere! Don't forget to state the obvious with a big 'Merry Christmas' sign and some sort of Christmas Tree too.

Tasty Treats

Set up a table in the corner and place all of your dishes and party food on it. Invest in a Christmas table cloth and look up some Christmas-themed desserts to add to the decor.

Music

Get everybody's favourite holiday hits on the stereo to get everyone in the mood. When it comes to Christmas, the cheesier the music the better, so putting on some Shakin Stevens will get everybody into the holiday spritits, and ready to spread some Christmas Cheer!

Play Games

For the kids, play some traditional games with a Christmas twist like Christmas Musical Chairs, Christmas Charades, Santa Says or Pin the Nose on Rudolph. Even if the changes to the game are as simple as everyone having to wear a santa hat, fun is a guarantee!

Visits From Santa

Get one of the adults to dress up like Santa and pass out small gifts to each child. This is the crowning point of most Christmas parties for kids. Not only will the kids be delighted to see santa in real life, but you can be sure of a well behaved child for at least the rest of the day, so that they can stay off the naughty list!

Make Memories

Assign another adult to elf duty as Santa's helper. They can take pictures of the kids with Santa to take home as lovely souvenirs of the party, as well as making sure that other kids are well behaved while waiting for some attention from Santa Himself. Santa's helper can also lead carols and other games while Santa talks to kids about their christmas lists!
