Donegal Adventure Centre (DAC) campus is one of Ireland’s premier adventure facilities located in Bundoran, a famous seaside resort along the magnificent Wild Atlantic Way. Donegal - Ireland's second largest county is renowned for its pristine beaches and offshore islands. So much so, Donegal was named the 'Coolest Place On The Planet' to visit by National Geographic Traveller in 2017.
Bundoran isn’t known as Ireland’s surfing capital for nothing, boasting some of the best surf schools in the country. From our world class reef break of The Peak to Tullan Stand, we have something for every level of surfer.
Bundoran is a popular holiday location during the summer months. It also features local attractions such as a waterpark, multiplex cinema, bowling alley, funfair and seaweed baths. There are many more beautiful places nearby, such as Ireland’s oldest town – Ballyshannon, historic castles, Yeats Country, national parks and gardens which we visit during the duration of our all-year-round residential camps.
Accommodation in the centre includes ensuite and standard rooms for 60 students, fully equipped kitchen, games and TV room, language room and communal areas. Rooms are shared between 2 - 4 persons. Our team will help you with your booking and will help you decide which camps are best suited to your individual needs. We offer return transfer from Dublin and Longford.

DAC is a purpose-built facility for school and youth groups and operates as a dedicated youth centre for students all year round. Donegal Adventure Centre is an ideal location for all children ages 12-18 to make new friends, learn new skills and create memories that will last a lifetime.
DAC prides itself on our fun-filled school and youth trips where students learn through outdoor activities as well as in the classroom. We offer day and residential tours all year round. Language & Adventure is a very successful programme at DAC since 2001 and we have achieved tremendous success with our work with schools throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Language & Adventure combines language sessions with adventure activities such as surfing (Bundoran is ranked as one of the top surfing spots in the world), cliff jumping, body boarding, archery, team tasks, high ropes course, climb & abseil tower and lots more!
We strive to make the whole process of learning as much fun as possible for students! All language courses are tailored to suit each school and all students receive detailed notes. All language teachers and sports instructors are fully qualified within their respective disciplines.
Our Language & Adventure programmes are devised to instil a sense of confidence and competence in the practice of languages at various levels. All teachers and monitors are professionals, selected for their ability to combine education with our principal aim…an enjoyable experience for all.
