The National Gallery of Ireland
The National Gallery of Ireland includes a collection of over 2,500 paintings and some 10,000 other works in different media including watercolours, drawings, prints and sculpture. Every major European School of painting is extensively represented. It also houses a renowned collection of Irish paintings. The gallery's highlights include the Yeats Museum, and works by Vermeer, Caravaggio, Picasso, Van Gogh and Monet. Admission is free to the permanent collection (not Millenium wing) and there are free Guided Tours on Saturdays at 2pm and Sundays at 1 & 2pm.

Phoenix Park Visitor Centre Childrens Workshops The following themed Childrens Workshops events will take place every Sunday morning and are lots of fun for the kids. Kids Workshop /   Ages 5 - 12   2 May / Go on a Spring treasure hunt and identify and draw your finds. 9 May / Creat your own park, grass, swings, lake, bridge and lots more 16 May / Medieval Life - Includes visit to Ashtown castle. 23 May / Make your own detailed map 30 May / Insects and birds of the park

Áras an Uachtaráin is open Saturdays only. Free admission tickets are issued at the Phoenix Park Visitor Centre on the day. Group and/or advance booking is not permitted. Opening times: Summer (Sat only) 10.15am-4pm Winter (Sat only) 10.30am-3.30pm
