National Leprechaun Museum School Tours

Join us at the National Leprechaun Museum for an experience like no other! Immerse yourself in the world of folklore and mythology. Our storytellers will guide you on your journey to the Otherworld - discover what lies at the end of the rainbow, explore the world as a leprechaun, enter the Fairy Hill, listen for an echo in the magic well.

Since opening our doors in 2010 we have shared stories with over half a million visitors. Through our much-loved tradition of storytelling, learn about Ireland’s vivid culture and heritage, discover its sacred sites, hear tales of Kings, Queens, Warriors and all things mythical at Ireland’s first attraction dedicated to our rich folklore.

Irish legends go back hundreds, sometimes thousands, of years. They are full of thrills, mischief, and magic which our storytellers bring to life. Hear the tales of Cú Chulainn and Finn MacCool as well as the almost-forgotten hidden gems. We will give you the tools to discover the joy of an epic adventure for yourself – so you can journey back to the Otherworld any time through these stories or perhaps create your own.

We have carefully selected themes for our tailored National School group tours. Tours are a mix of information, interactive spaces and stories, and last approximately 45 minutes. The museum is wheelchair accessible and we are happy to facilitate groups with special needs.

We are based in Dublin city centre, with excellent public transport links. We’re easy to find too - right beside the Jervis Shopping Centre on the Red Luas line – only a few stops from both Connolly and Heuston train station, and mere minutes walk from some of Dublin’s most famous sights.
