School Management Communication Tool on Schooldays.ie
Schooldays.ie provide a free facility to School Management whereby schools can post announcements to parents on the school's profile page on Schooldays.ie. This facility proved particularly useful to schools during adverse weather conditions but can also be used to communicate a range of information to parents or prospective parents, e.g.
- announcing school events & fundraising activities
- announcing school openings/closures
- providing information to prospective parents on application procedures & dates etc.
Announcements posted by schools on the Schooldays.ie website are visible to anybody visiting the school's profile page on the site. In addition, parents who have joined the Parent Network for your school will receive email alerts if you post an announcement on your school's profile page on schooldays.ie - there is no fee for parents to join the Parent Network.

Announcements posted by schools re closures due to adverse weather conditions will also appear on our School's Weather page which is activated during times of adverse weather conditions and is linked to from many media outlets including RTE and TV3.
