Party Planner Tips

  • Ensure you are clear about their price and the length of time they will entertain at the party.
  • Depending on the size of your group a Party Planner may bring a second person to assist which can double the cost - make sure you are clear about your numbers.
  • Let the Party Planner know what type of party your child is expecting so that they can customise the party as required.
  • Establish whether the Party Planner requires any special facilities, tools or party set-up
  • Check whether the Party Planner will assist during the food part of the party - some do, some don't
  • Check whether the Party Planner provides any prizes, gifts or party bags.
  • Re-confirm the booking with the party-planner a day or two before the party.
  • Introduce the party-plannerto the birthday boy or girl on arrival so that the entertainer can ensure the child gets special attention during the performance.
  • Have the fee ready in an envelope before the party starts.
  • Have a few party games on standby in case the entertainment is shorter than you expect.
