The Model Railway Village in Clonakilty, West Cork is the perfect combination for your School Tour. The village is a model of the Old West Cork Railway Line with fully working trains and the towns that the railway serviced. Our tours are all about teaching the children a love of their history and heritage by bringing them back to the West Cork of the 1940's and telling the story of life in the towns that grew up around the Railway Line. The tour includes a tour of the village, fun quiz, interpretive centre, picnic area and free play indoors or outdoors and a magical tour of Clonakilty in our very own Choo Choo train.
