Students who will be sitting their Junior or
Leaving Certificate exams in the coming weeks may be able to benefit from some revision tips that have been suggested by one publication.
The Irish Independent spoke to several experts, who agreed that good planning during both revision periods and the tests themselves will be crucial to success.
Schools liaison officer at Griffith College Keith Styles told the newspaper: "There is still plenty of time for final revision but it is vital to prepare properly in other areas, such as time management and general exam technique."
The Independent noted that students must remember to pace themselves through their exam period and not get overly concerned about their early papers, as this could have a negative impact on the later tests.
It added that pupils should also take the time to familiarise themselves with the paper so they are aware of how long they should be spending on each answer.
Earlier this month, it was reported than more students than ever are sitting the Leaving Certificate as dropout rates fall to their lowest levels on record.
