Hi, Can anybody give me some info on this school?Do they have an early start etc? Thanks in advance

I have two boys in Gaelscoil an Duinninigh and they start school at 9.15am in the mornings - junior and senior infants finish up at 1.35pm - I think it´s a fine school - AND they´re on a promise now to start building the new school sometime early in the new year!  And it IS happening - think the job is going out to tender before Christmas!

 

Only gripe I have is that I´d really like to have some Irish conversation classes that I could attend to keep my Irish up and running and they don´t seem to cater for that much at all .... pity as I was at the A.G.M. there recently and there were quite a few parents who would´ve like the same - as most of us are working parents we´d be looking for an evening slot and I guess the teachers don´t fancy hanging around that late!

I´d be interested in an evening parents conversation group!  Especially if absolute beginners are allowed/encouraged.  There has been a conversation group at the M´hd Library during the week days (I´ll check if it´s continuing this fall) but I haven´t been able to attend so far.  Also, heard  about a free course at KLEAR in Kilbarrack a few years back.

they are now doing irish courses in the evening time in the school thanks to Noreen. She is great and the classes are really beneficial.
