I studied in St. Fiachras from Junior Infants to 2nd.Four whole years and I learnt a lot of stuff. For the first 2 years my teacher was Ms. Dympana Ryan who was very nice and appreciated me alot.Being Indian origin , i never felt left out and always got attention from all the teachers if if they didn´t teach me.First and second class was excellent and my teacher was Ms. Sheila O´ Connell, who too was very nice and helpful.I used to have fun talking to her and she was very fascinated hearing about india.I still have the card and pencil colors she gave me.I really loved going to our school church and on picnics. The most memorable thing was sitting in the corner of the class library on the cushions reading Kitty books.
I want to thank all my classmates especially -Cliona Moran ,Christine Burne,Ryan,Serena and Grace who were my good friends.
I´ll once again come back to Dublin very soon to meet all of you.
Love,
Anu

Hi Kasia,

I´ve just read your comment on the discussion board about your school experiences in Ireland. I find it fantastic to see that you have been really happy here :)

Now, how come that I am reacting to this? I work at Trinity College Dublin on a project that looks at Polish people living in Ireland - www.polishproject.net - and at this moment we are actually trying to find young Poles who would be willing to talk to us about their experiences with learning English in Ireland. And so when I was looking online for some contacts I came across your very interesting comment! I understand my message might feel too sudden, but perhaps, if you would like to know more about our work and felt like participating on our current study (some fun with English sounds), I would be very happy to hear from you. Dzieki bardzo i przepraszam za sposob kontaktu. Milego dnia! Romana (085-1732231, kopeckor@tcd.ie)
