I am a kind, caring childminder available in Cork City from September 2011 for afternoon work. I am available to mind children in my own home in Blarney along with my 4.5 year old daughter. I am a fully qualified Montessori teacher with a B.A. level 7 degree in Montessori Education. I also hold a First Aid Cert, a Manual Handling Cert and a full Irish driving licence.
I am a hardworking, reliable, honest and friendly person. My experience and training has provided me with strong skills in childcare. I currently hold the position of Weekend Supervisor in a drop in creche catering for children between 2 and 8 years. I also work as a Montessori Teacher in a Montessori Pre-School. At the moment, I do a school drop and collection to this pre school Mon-Fri.
Children need a safe and caring environment where they can learn and grow. Parents need to feel confident that teachers and caretakers will provide close supervision and creative activities for their children. I am the person you can count on to provide consistently excellent care.
The role I would take in the afternoons is collecting children from school, providing and preparing food, helping children with their homework, organising art and craft activities, trips to the park, playing games, reading stories etc. My daughter would also love some company in the afternoons.
