I am looking for a childminder in the Clane area from the 2nd week in May. The days would be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I have 2 boys a 2yr old and 6mth old.

Hello, my name is Kate. I have fetac level 5 and 6 qualifications in all childcare modules offered by fetac. i also have fetac level 6 in childrens arts and crafts and drama. I hold a first aid certificate and full clean irish driving licence. I am recently married with no children. I have worked in a number of childcare centres in the area and also in the city centre, including Giraffe childcare centre in celbridge and the trinity college nursery references are availble upon request. I have been born and raised in clane although since the building of our home has been completed we have moved back to my husbands farm to our new house in smithstown, which is between clane and straffan. I am a non smoker and have a keen interest in home baking and cooking and also I have a love of animals which I try to include in my curriculum with any child that has been in my care. at our home we have rabbits, hens, a beagle called lola and a tiny pony which i hope the children can incorporate into their lives to enrich their overall education.
at present I am in the process of finishing a purpose built building beside my home in which my aim is to care for and nurture a small number of children. I am looking at taking three children in total, one space which has been filled by a six and a half month old baby boy who I care for part time at present. here i wish to have a space that is a home from home, with a relaxed and caring atmosphere. the children will have all have an individual diary where all of their activities, sleep routines, and eating etc will be recorded for mammy and daddy to see, I really want to strive to work alongside parents as a team as i feel this is crutial for the child and parent alike. I feel that todays creches are too industrial and little thought is really given to the children, it is all so regulated the children barely get a glance at the true overall experience of early life. here at willow tree farm I want to have the children at one with nature, feeding the hens when weather permits, one which they can call their own, planting herbs and watching them grow and taking nice walks through our land when our lovely irish weather allows us!! I also have noticed the enjoyment that children get from watching baking, how when they stir up the ingredients and put them in the oven and discover the results are cakes etc. I also like to include arts and crafts and elements of Maria Montessori´s beliefs and ideas in our day to day curriculum. I am flexible with days and hours and if you would like to talk with me about anything I would love to talk. If you´re still looking for a childminder, I am living in Sallins, not too far from Clane. I have appropriate qualifications, insurance, am registered with childminding, am non smoker, have full clean drivers licence. I have a little boy of 20 months.

I´m 16 years old and currently in transition year in Newbridge College, county Kildare. I live in Capdoo, Clane. I am very hard working and take my responsibities seriously. At the moment i am saving money towards buying a car and i find having a job on the side during my spare time would be extremely helpful. I have previous experience in looking after my little cousins at the weekends and after school as well as my younger brother. I am a very sporty girl, i´m on an Irish tetrathlon team and have been putting a lot of work into training and also studying to complete my Junior Certificate last year, as of now i have spare time to fill and i would love the opportunity to mind kids. I have qualifications in first aid and have been working as a babysitter for my previously as well as volunteering within my local creche throughout the midterms.
My parents have nicely offered to drive me to my job at any time convenitent for the employer although i would prefer if it was within a reasonable distance from my house in clane and this would suit since we live in the same town, i am open for any weekend at your convenience and also weekday evenings. On wednesdays our school has a half day and we get off at 1pm so anytime after that would suit too.
I am a responsible, fun, hard working, and well spoken i am very mature for my age. I am a decent homemaker and i´m willing to do housework whilst minding the children, i speak fluent english and i feel i set a good example around all children i come to meet. I love to play and teach. I am very open minded to childrens ways of learning.
