I´m a primary school teacher and will need a childminder for my baby in the Dublin 13 area next year. I´ve been quoted 200 euro a week which I realise is the ´norm´ around Dublin but as I plan to drop off baby at 8.30a.m and collect by 2.45 I would have thought it would be less expensive than full time rates... Is this reasonable? Also, what happens for mid-terms/Christmas holidays etc.. this childminder has said she expects to be paid for all holidays except her own annual leave as this is the only time she is ´unavailable´. I´m feeling a bit panicky about the cost at the moment :cry:
