Hi All,
I am looking for a childminder to mind my 6 month old daughter in my home, for the approximate hours, 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday. I would appreciate any idea on costs - Whats fair to offer (but which also still makes it worth my while going back to work)!!! I live in the Sandymount area. Also, are there any childminders out there that would be interested?

Hi - average daily rate would be about €40/45 per day in childminders own home. If you are employing someone in your own home you have to pay at least minimum wage per hour tax prsi etc & register with revenue. You should put an advert up on other page for childminders in Dublin South. Best of luck with your search.
