Childminder in for 3 days - 2 kids - how much? 30/06/2011 11:04 - How Much Should I Charge or Pay (Locality: Dublin North) ----------------------------------- hi Our little girl will be starting school in Sep and we also have a 7 month old baby girl - both are now in creche as I recently started back in work. However, we´ve decided when the older girl starts school I´m going to go part-time at work and work a 3 day week and get a childminder into our home for these 3 days. Days will be from 7 - 6pm. How much would we be expected to pay for a childminder to get them up, bring and collect the older one to school, take care of the younger one and also during the school holidays to look after both of them for those 3 days? I want to be at home the other 2 days with them and do all this as don´t want to miss out either on these days with them. I´d appreciate if anyone is doing similar or could give me a ball park figure. Creche has been so handy upto now but I guess it all changes now that school is starting. Thanks everyone.
