Childminder/nanny rates Terenure 12/06/2016 19:22 - Dublin South Childminders ----------------------------------- Hi, I´ll be looking for full time care for my 11 month old baby when I go back to work in December.
Ideally I´d prefer a nanny in our house for convenience but this will depend on the rates so would be open to a childminder in their house if it wasn´t too far away. I live just near St Pius church.
I´ve heard a day rate of 50euro per day but not sure if that´s for a childminder rather than a nanny.
What would the rate be for a nanny or a childminder?

I believe €50 per day, would be for child to be minded in the childminders house. As a general rule, a nanny in your house would charge the national minimum wage per hour (which I believe is around €9.20/hour). I am an experienced child minder & mum. Our son is starting school in September, so I am looking to mind up to 3 children in my own home in Rathfarnham. I am looking at charging a little less than €50/day.....
