Hi,
We are new to Irish schools... My son is talking about dancing and really missing it, he is at secondary school, he is 14 and at a second year. We came from California and over there the dancing starts at a middle school when kids are 12 years old like maybe once per 3 month. Of course if a teen doesn;t do well in school or has behavior problems they miss a dance.
I wonder why here in Cork there is no dancing at secondary school.

If so it happens after 6th year and its called debs

actually no prom, just dancing like he used to have at his middle like once every other month on Friday from 7-9p.m at age of 11, 12 and 13 at school in California and then they have it the same at High school but i think like once per 2,3 month

i get you know! I know of some secondary school in Dublin that have them at the end of terms.
