Dear Sir / Madame

I have completed my final year in BSc Education and Training and graduated with a 2.1 Honours degree which qualifies me to look after/teach very young children and children with special needs.

Currently I am studying the Irish Leaving certificate in order to do a post graduate in primary teaching next year ( I only have one more year to go until I wil l be a fully qualified primary teacher). I have a lot of experience babysitting a boy who is aged 4 now and starting school. From a very young age I knew teaching young children was my vocation. However, this would be an ideal job as it would give me time to study my Irish and I would enjoy it.

I am passionate about teaching and I am committed to enhancing children’s learning opportunities. My thesis which studied the effect physical education has on children’s behaviour, motivation and achievement, received very positive feedback. I have studied in-depth and seen first hand the difference an educator can make in the life of a child, therefore I would love the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child.

Most importantly I have a strong passion for both education and children and their overall well- being. I am very flexible with the hours I work. I am available full time or part time.
I don´t drive. I only live in Beaumont and happy to mind very young children, older children or both.
