Hi there, my name is Carla.
I´ve been working as a childminder for 5 years. Firstly with a set of twin girls and currently with a little girl age 4 & her little brother aged 2. Unfortunately I will have to say goodbye to this family when they move across to the other side of the country in August. So I´m looking for some new children to care for.
I fell into childminding when a friend put me in touch with the first family I worked with, and discovered I´m pretty good at it and I absolutely love working with children.
I can cook if its required, I can kiss a bump or a bruise better, I can read books, prepare a picnic, and generally provide the loving caring and nurturing atmosphere that most kids need to grow and feel secure.
I´ve been working in the stillorgan area and know the various amenities and activities available there as well as having an existing network of friends and fellow childminders for playdates etc.
I have a paediatric first aid cert, my garda vetting is in progress and I´m hoping to have my full driving licence by Christmas!
