Hi I would like to know how many children you are allowed to mind as a voluntary notified childminder, with your own children. I have two of my own one in playschool. So am I allowed to mind 3 with my own two or one with my own two to make up the 3.
I would also looking for ideas on how other childminders manage minding other kids ,juggling school runs and taking in afterschool kids. I only have a small car and find this is restricting me from school pick ups,buy I need to earn a living also. any ideas welcome thank you

HSE says:
A Voluntary Notified/Notified Childminder is a person who looks after no more than five children, including their own pre-school child or children, in their own home, providing a quality service to parents and children each day.

Thanks for your reply sorry I stated what I meant to say wrong. I meant to say when you are voluntary notified to the child care committee. thanks
