How much should I Pay (Part Time)

-----------------------------------
Hi

I am just staring to get my nine month old minded and I want to agree rates with the child-minder. It will only be for around 4-6 days per month for approx 8hrs per day in the childminders own home, I will provide all food, I know that people say €5 p/h in minders own home and €10 p/h in child´s home, but as it is so few days per month I hardly think it would be worth the child-minder´s while doing it for €5 per hour. Does anyone have any advise on this as I want to be fair.

I know Id be delighted with any child for few days a month. Iv my own full time child and so only do part timers after that as a childminder needs a break too. Why not see what a childminder says s/he mind for and take it for there. Some parents are great and give gifts at appropriate times of the year from themselves/child/ren and its lovely.
Id offer €35 a day with flexibility.

50 euro per days work, that make it worth doing ,also it would stop minder drifting away for more money, your child needs same person all the time to help
with separation anxiety.
good luck
