hi all,
Just wondering what is a fair daily charge to look after 3yr old and a 1yr old (brother and sister) from 7.15am - 5.30pm in my home. I would provide all meals snacks etc.

I would say about 60euro per day. Maybe 65 depending, but 60 would be the min

hi there,
it depends on the minder, some stay at home mums do it for 35-40 per day. see what the minder charges and then perhaps if you are both happy to work together maybe you could meet somewhere in between!

I have only heard of people getting 35-40 for one child for those hours to be honest, Its a long enough day- early enough start and even a stay at home mother I think would expect at least 55 -60 for it.
I think any less would not be enough-
1 year olds are alot of work, then a 3 year old on top of that also you are providing all meals, you would be barely making a profit if you minded them both for 35euro.(remember childminders and stay at home parents still have bills to pay too)
I think that really would be way too low. HTH

My friend lives in Kiildare her 4 and 3 year old are minded 8.30 0 6pm and she pays €40 per day she provides dinner

I would say at least €70 very long hours & providing food etc. 10hrs & 15 mins works out about approx €7 per hour for 2 very young children. Thats good value!
