re... : How much to charge 30/08/2012 08:09 - How Much Should I Charge or Pay ----------------------------------- I live in south dublin so rates might not be the same but the average is 5 euro per hour for the first child, with a half rate of 2.50 per hour for the second. 8 to 6 is a long day, and most parents wouldn´t want to pay by the hour as it would work out at 75 for the day. Average daily prices for one child would be 40 euro, and for two at least 60. Some childminders I know charge a bit more than that, depending on their training and experience, and they don´t seem to have a problem getting mindees, as they are all fully booked.
