Would really appreciate your thoughts on same.

5-600euro and more during school holidays
The minder should be insured, and registered with Tusla if minding over 3 children. Also ensure she has altered her car insurance to cover your children in her car.

Hi thanks for your reply.
Do you mean €5/600 a wk?? We are living in Tipp, that seems extremely high for 3days a wk with two kids in school from 9-3. Can I ask you your break down of that price please.
Any other ppls thoughts on price welcome too.
Thanks

Sorry I misread your post and thought it was 5 days per week.

For four kids, you´d be better to employ a nanny in your own home, the cost will be much the same but with a huge amount of convenience for both you and your children. It will be hard too to find a Cmer who can mind four kids, especially if she´s her own kids.
**a childminder only needs register with Tusla if minding more than three preschoolers (so any kids not in national school). 5 preschoolers is the max a Tusla registered childminder (including her own) can have with one after schooler; 6 is max amount of minded children together otherwise planning is needed.
