Agree €8.65 at least by 50hrs..
Agree it it sounds shocking but if same hours somewhere either ok or underpaid someone thinking
Agree nanny most expensive form of childcare
I feel cm are underselling themselves, we´ve been bet down by societal attitudes that we must be cheaper than the creches...my local creche €38 a day now I don´t know if that covers 7am to 7pm but people seem to think it does...but people need to realise the ratio of children...
Individual care is always a premium but so worth it....if one can afford it...

If u get €400 for minding a baby for a week then I´m moving to Dublin!! Cheaper to go to the childminders house but I´m in tipp and I realise the amount I would charge for that would be half of what Dublin Childminders charge but the norm is €5 per hour. More expensive to get CM to come to your house though. Best of luck.

Hi,

What would be a normal rate for a childminder full-time (5 days per week in my home 8am-6pm) for one baby, 8 months old? Thanks.
