How to charge for varying hours per week

How to charge for varying hours per week           reply
09/08/2016 07:57 - How Much Should I Charge or Pay
-----------------------------------
Hi, just wondering what is the best way to charge for flexible hours? Vary from 0-3 days a week, hours 0-20 hours per week. Baby is 9 months old . Takes in 7 days (Sundays very rare ). Want to be fair, so was thinking €5 per hour but some weeks this would mean no pay, other weeks €30 euro up to 100. As it´s a bit patchy, is there another fair option? In my own home.

If your sure youll feel comfortable with a week of no pay then work away.
If your offering an insured environment but are desperate to have a space filled then work away.
However insured would require a minimum rate per week ie guarantee of say one/two days pay per week regardless of use. As for working Sunday it´s entirely your choice but antisocial hours would require extra per hour. Will you be happy work a Sunday or even Saturday for few hours while rest of week off? Another way to work it is give a higher rate per hour so the week youv three days will cover the week of no days. Flexibility, especially that level, comes at a cost. It will also be very unsettling for the baby so hard establish a routine.
