Hi
I am a mam of two little girls aged almost three years and just over one year. I am looking for a childminder to take care of my girls two afternoons a week in own home or childminders home. The number of afternoons may increase over time and it would be great if any interested childminder could be flexible in relation to which afternoons suit etc.

I live in Ballylynan. My partner and I moved here in March, from Dublin, for a quieter life! I have 7 years exp minding children, with 3 families. I have a car, full driving licence, non smoker.
Im not sure if Ballylynan would be too far to travel for the girls or not. Its about 15 mins from Carlow. I have a little St. Bernard puppy arriving in November, so I would preferably mind in my home, for the moment anyway, while she is small. Im just letting you know that in advance as it may change things for you and the girls.
Our house is large, with secured garden. I have always been happy to bring children to park, swimming etc. I am also an artist , so am very creative and arty. The children I have minded before have ranged from ages 11 months to 12 years.
Im a very easy going person, yet I am a good disciplinarian, only if needs be , I would use the thinking step and that kind of thing.
Can´t think of what else to write currently! A chat might suit better, so if you think we could suit each others needs, Im happy to meet for a chat when suits.

hi orla. i have just read your add for a child minder for your children. im living in carlow and im available in the afternoons, i have completed my fetac level 5 in childcare, i have full garda vetting, and i have a full clean drivers licence. i have worked as a childminder in the carlow area for a family of 3 children and i have also worked in a playschool / creche setting. im a mum for two children aged 16yrs and 4.yrs my son started school and i would need to take him along with me if that was possible, im free every afternoon, so if you are still looking for a minder for your children please pm me and we can have a chat.
