Is anyone aware that there is no provision for speech & language therapy for children who fall into the Moderate level of intellect - My son no longer qualifies for SLT in school, as per the DES and the NCSE - Can anyone enlighten me out there?

You could try appealing it or getting your own private assesment done (€400) another option is to try play therapy as I´m aware it greatly benefits children who have speech and language problems - low cost can be optional sometimes depending on therapist/centre.
