Hi - need some advice on what I should pay a child-minder who will pick up my child from play-school 5 days a week and keep for an hour and 15mins (no food required) until i get back from work. So nearly 6 hours a week in all. Any advice greatly appreciated. Lf

Hi,
If childminder is registered, vetted, insured and driving own car I would suggest 12 euro per hour. I would break it down as follows 3 euro to collect in own car, 7 euro per hour and 2 euro for 15 mins. The standard rate per hour seems to be 6 euro = however you require such a limited amount of work youd probably have to pay slightly more! hope this is of help to you

i think 50 per week is enough. its only 6 hours per week
