Pay for collection/drop please help 21/02/2014 08:51 - How Much Should I Charge or Pay ----------------------------------- Hi, I have asked someone to collect my child from school and drop home. It is literally 2 minutes away but the person I have asked will be going about 5 minutes out of their way, possibly 10 depending on traffic. I would like to pay her for petrol costs. How much would you think is fair?

School runs aren´t the nicest job to be doing as weather, hassle if jumper left behind, carseats etc....but the convenience of it is sooo worth the money.....

My child is almost 11 so won´t be too much hassle as in can come out to car herself on wet days and only needs booster seat etc. Not talking down the job, I know there is still a responsibility there for the person so absolutely want to make sure I am being fair.
