Hi there,
I have a 2 year old boy and am starting to worry a bit about getting him in to a good primary school. We live in Dublin 3 but both work in Clonskeagh (also my husband´s family live in Foxrock so southside is better for them if we need them to pick him up for any reason).
Has anyone here placed their child in a school outside the catchment area of where they live or do most schools strictly adhere to catchment areas?
Also, I like the idea of gaelscoils although neither of us speaks Irish (both were fluent leaving school but not any more). I would be willing to brush up on my Irish though.
Does anyone know of good gaelscoils or English speaking scools near the city centre or Clonskeagh?
