Query with rate. 09/03/2017 12:11 - How Much Should I Charge or Pay (Locality: Kildare) ----------------------------------- Currently looking after a 6 month old from 8 am till 4:30 my query is I have to collect her brother from playschool at 12 every day which is just over a mile away. Weather depending I hope to walk but sometimes drive. Do you have to take into account the collection when calculated rate or is it just charged by the hour rate from 12? I know some people charge to be on call while the 2nd child is in playschool but I am not doing that. I charge €5 per hour for 1 child and €8 per hour for 2. Thanks in advance for your help.

Don´t forget you´ll have car insurance costs as your collecting from ecce never mind fuel etc plus hassle and disruption to sleep time etc. You could justify charging the full five euro as time starting at collection. Make sure your contract states your not on call.
