Hi I´m wondering how much I should pay childminder to mind 2.5 year old and 7 month old in own home Monday to Friday from 8am-4pm?

Hi, I think the rate of pay depends on a number of things. For example; is the childminder qualified? her amount of experience in childcare, who will provide children´s food/meals, where you live, what activities your children will be provided with during the day, whether the child is being minded in his/her own home or childminders home, etc.
I am a student studying early childhood education & care (level 8 ) and Personally for two young children I would charge approx €8 an hour, but again it depends on how much experience your childminder has and what activities your children would be provided with
