Yes I would charge, it´s still your time and your time is valuable. Perhaps charge a nominal fee if it would make you more comfortable however, like €20, or if it´s 3.5 hours don´t charge for the extra half-hour or something?

I´m just wondering if any childminders out there charge for settling in days. I´ve never had to do this type of day before so I´m just wondering what the done thing is. I´ve been asked to cover 3 half days before a new baby starts with me. Thank you.
