If you have a child who has been affected by bereavement or separation/divorce I recommend you contact Rainbows. They operate from various centres througout Ireland, north and south, including my local centres in Greystones in Wicklow and also in Bray. Check out www.rainbows.org
This is a voluntary group who help children affected by bereavement, separation or divorce and may show symptoms in their school work or interaction with their peers. It is an excellent group and volunteers would be greatly appreciated. Groups are between 3 and 5 children for an hour once a week.
I have recently qualified as a Facilitator which means I will supervise a group once a week in my local centre. If you are interested, go to www.rainbowsireland.com and find your local centre. You will be very glad you did as the work these people do is second to none.
Hope this is useful.
