re... : Temporary childminder? 19/09/2014 12:02 - Dublin South Childminders ----------------------------------- Should have also told you that if you are going to be living and working close to somewhere on St. Stephen´s Green, then your best bet is to look for a childminder who either lives near by or who can commute into you, that way you won´t have the hassle of dropping your daughter out of town to a minder and then having to make your way back into town for work? Hope that makes sense. I am a childminder myself, but I live out of town and only mind in my own home, otherwise I would have offered my services to you. Best of luck and welcome to Dublin!

I have been offered a 3 month contract in Dublin poss extended to 6 months. As I would need to temporarily relocate to Dublin (from Scotland) i would need to organise full time childcare for my 1 year old daughter.
My queries are:
- would I be able to find a childminder who would take on temp childcare? - what are the current going rates for full time care in Dublin? (Still waiting on confirmation of the office/accommodation location) so not sure if West/North/South? - any suggestions on good family friendly areas with easy commute to centre? - what´s the best way to find a good minder? How long does it take?
Any other advice gratefully appreciated?
I will have to make a decision before lunch time tomorrow so any responses would be gratefully appreciated. Only got told today! Many thanks
