-----------------------------------
Hi,
I am a south dublin based child minder.
I am paid when my clients don´t send their children, either due to illness/holidays.
I am not paid when i cannot provide the service, due to holidays etc.
I think this is fairly standard.

Hi Cathy, I am a registered childminder and this is my policy.
There is no reduction for absenteeism due to bank holidays, parent or child illness, or any holidays taken by you. The only time the fees do not apply is when there is no service provided to you and your child due to childminders planned holidays or childminders day off.

Hope this helps. Best of luck! Sandra
