my son is one of 4 children been put into a mixed grade class of 2nd / 3rd
he is very upset about been separated from the rest of his class
has any one got any veiws or opinions on mixed grade classes

Hi Dolly
I think academically the mixed classes usually work fine. My own daughter was in mixed level classes for a few years and it worked fine. However I think is is hard on a child who has been with friends to be separated out into a new group with only 4 from his original class.
