I’m writing in response to your advertisement for the job vacancy. I believe I can bring a very positive approach to this position.
My employment experience to date includes five years full and part time childcare, caring for children ranging in ages from 5 weeks to adolescence. I am a qualified health care assistant with a level five FETAC award in nursing studies and hold a certificate in occupational first aid. Completing my pre Nursing course allowed me to develop vital skills, which have enhanced both my personal and professional abilities.
I feel Confident that I meet, and exceed the specific requirements necessary for this position. My past employment as a sole charge nanny, has well equipped me with the skills needed for a position such as this.
I have a full driving license.
My plan is to continue with my studies September 2011. This would allow me to be available from April until July/August 2011.

hello my name is Ruth Reynolds, i am 19 years old, i live in Blackrock, went to Loreto College Foxrock and have currently just finished my first year in college in IADT studying Business and Entrepreneurship. I am very interested in the childminding position. I feel i would be suited for this job because i am a very honest and reliable person, who is very enthusiastic and hardworking.
I have been babysitting on a regular basis since October 2007. In my most recent job i minded three children under the age of four from July 2010 to January 2011. I had total responsibility for them two to three afternoons a week and sometimes at night. I organised their time with constructive projects such as arts and crafts. Reference available on request.
