Hi I live in co. Wexford I have just returned to work and my childcare has increased from 150E to 200E for the second child is this normal? my hours are 8.30 to 4.00 (4.30 twice a week) I am really happy with my minder but I am also aware that friends have someone in their own house with the added advantage of housework being done for roughly the same price.

Just to clarify, were you being charged €150/wk for the 1st child, and now €200/wk for both?
