Columbus Club Summer Camps
Columbus Club provides a range of six Summer Camps for children (ages 3-12) from Tuesday, 5th June – Friday, 17th August. These include Arts & Sports Camp, Baking, Sewing/Knitting & Embroidery Camp, Junior Engineering/Lego Camp with Chess, Animation & Art (including computer animation), STEM camp Computer Coding (Science/Technology/Engineering and Maths Camp), Multi-Sports & Fitness Camp and Film & Cinematography/Drama Camp. Camp Times: 9.00am -3.00pm Pre-Camp 8am -9am (free of charge) Post-Camp (3pm -6pm). Columbus Club also provides weekly Irish Camps. Other language camps provided for primary school students include Multi-Activity Camps in Spanish.Columbus Club also provides a range of courses, classes and workshops for teenagers (12-17yrs) during the Summer (Tues 5th June – Fri 17th Aug). Two week Irish language Courses are held in UCD, 10am -4pm (June 5-15th & July 23rd to 3rd Aug). Morning classes in Oral, Aural and Written work and an additional Oral 1:1 provision daily by the Gaeilge teachers. Teachers are from the Gaelscoileanna and the Galway Gaeltacht. Spanish Courses for teenagers are also held in UCD (18th - 29th June).
Teenagers are also provided with weekly workshops from Tuesday, 6th June – Friday, 18th August including: Photography, Animation, Film & Cinematography, Create an App Course and Baking & Cookery Course.

Language Courses and Camps - UCD:
Post Primary
IRISH - Gaelcholáiste Cholumba provides two week Irish Summer Courses in U.C.D. during June and July (June 5-15th & July 23rd to 3rd Aug). Students are divided into separate age groups on these courses with work covered daily on Oral, Aural and Written work. In addition, we provide daily 1:1 Oral practice with a teacher of Gaeilge. Afternoon activites "as Gaeilge" include a range of sports, Animation and Film/Drama. Times: 10.00am -4.00pm. The two week course is €350.
SPANISH - Columbus Club also provides a two week Spanish Course in U.C.D. from Monday, 18th June - Friday, 29th June. The Course takes place between 10.00am -4.00pm each day with morning classes in Oral, Aural and Written work with additional 1:1 Spanish Oral practice with a Spanish teacher daily. The afternoon activities in Spanish include a range of sports and Film/Drama and Animation. The two week course is €350.
Primary
All our language camps for primary school students take place in UCD Belfield.
Gaelcholáiste Cholumba provides weekly camps "as Gaeilge" for primary school students and take place each day from 9.00am -3.00pm. The weekly Irish Camps take place between Monday, 2nd July - Friday,17th August. Students start with a morning lesson which is followed by a range of activities "as Gaeilge"
We also provide weekly Spanish Camps for primary school students from Monday, 2ns July - Friday, 17th August at Old Belvedere RFC, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 . These are multi-activity camps through Spanish.
