Spanish after-school courses for kids and teens (online and on-site). Instituto Cervantes, the official worldwide organisation responsible for the promotion of Spanish language and culture, runs Spanish after-school courses for kids and teens throughout the year – whatever their level of Spanish.
Children have a natural ability to easily learn a new language and Spanish is already the second language for business and the third most used on the internet, with the importance of Spanish around the world set to grow further. Knowing Spanish provides students with an important competitive edge, as well as the ability to communicate with twice as many people as English alone..
Our classes are delivered both online and on-site, using the most innovative teaching methods to stimulate and motivate your child. All of our teachers are highly qualified native speakers who hold advanced degrees in Spanish (Masters or Ph.D.) and are experienced professionals in child education. Instituto Cervantes will help your child learn Spanish by using a communicative and dynamic approach complemented with an extensive library and fun cultural activities. The young participants will have the opportunity to learn and practice Spanish in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Children from Junior Infants to 6th Class
- Specific courses for heritage speakers and non-native learners from complete beginners to advanced
- Small groups with a maximum of 8 children
- Saturday morning classes from September to May
- Courses are structured in two terms of 12 classes
- We also offer Summer Camps during July and August
Teens from 1st Year to 6th Year
- Weekly regular courses on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings from September to June
- Special focus on the preparation of Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert
- Small groups with a maximum of 10 students
- Courses are structured in 3 terms of 10 or 12 classes
- We also offer intensive 1-week courses during the school breaks and Summer Camps from the beginning of June until the end of August
