Detox Food

Why We Love It

Tuna is a great source of protein and Omega 3 fatty acids which can help boost concentration in school and reduce the symptoms of asthma since it has anti-inflammatory properties.

The antinflammatory coumpounds found in cucumbers help detox and remove waste from the body and reduces skin irritation which is good news for teens!

Did you know that tomatoes are just packed full of goodness? They contain Vitamin C which helps heal bones and wounds, helps you absorb iron and even fights germs.

What You'll Need

425g x Canned Tuna
150g x Sweetcorn
1 x Wholemeal Bap
3 Tbsp x Low Fat Mayo
½ x Cucumber
1 x Tomato
½ x Head of Lettuce

Method

Drain the tuna and the sweetcorn and mix together with Mayo in a bowl. Chop the tomato and the cucumber and add to tuna and mix well.
