Sport in Schools

Our aim is to deliver innovative and dynamic programs in the school environment. Every student should have the right to correctly learn how to jump, skip, hop, roll etc. We aim to create an all-inclusive fun environment to enable students to maximise their potential and develop strong core and co-ordination skills.

We are an external physical education provider for primary schools based in Dublin. Gymnastics has been our most popular program (check out our testimonials here Our program focuses on movement experiences & builds a solid foundation for physical activity adhering to the curriculum guidelines.

Participating in gymnastics provides a unique movement experience not duplicated in many other activities. The movement abilities developed in gymnastics are fundamental to movement in general. Sport in Schools gymnastics program is based on fun and fitness, allowing children of all levels to achieve their personal best.

Our Gymnastics program promotes

  • All round physical development; muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, balance, coordination, agility and sound posture. Weight bearing activities promote sound bone growth and development.
  • Movement competence through the activities focusing on jumping, landing, rolling, turning, twisting, swinging, and locomotive movements.
  • Cognitive development; through an emphasis on exploration and sequencing students are encouraged to listen, problem solve, make decisions, create and take risks.
  • Social development; encouraged through partner and group work, peer tutoring and assessment

We bring all the equipment required for every session and leave nothing behind us at the school. Our equipment includes; all safety mats, high bars, parallel bars, horse, rings, spring board and much more. Typically, a coach will be on site 45-minutes before the start of the first class to set up and carry out a risk assessment of the hall.

All our classes are taught by fully insured, qualified gymnastics coaches who use a student-centered learning approach. Below is a sample timetable that can be adjusted to suit your school.
