10 week to 3 year courses



Gaiety School of Acting offers the most comprehensive acting course available to young actors in Ireland.

As the starting point for international stars such as Brian Gleeson, Barry Keoghan, Ruth Bradley and Eve Hewson, GSA is the ideal nurturing and inspiring environment to ensure that your little star reaches their full potential. The GSA will reopen for in-person classes on October 3rd. 



This year we are staggering class times and reducing class numbers to allow for social distancing. To learn more about how the GSA is putting your health and safety first please watch the below short video.


With schools in Temple Bar and Malahide, we have classes for children from 14 years to 18 years, giving even the youngest aspiring actor the opportunity to try out the stage.

GSA also offers training in Musical Theatre from the age of 6 years at our Temple Bar venue as well as Acting for Camera for ages 13 to 18 years, and a full range of Summer, Halloween, Easter and Christmas camps.

Our Young Gaiety Saturday School classes run for 10 weeks over 3 Terms commencing October, January and April.

Advanced students can audition to join the GSA's Young Performers Company, Youth Theatre Company or Musical Theatre Company for the next school year 2019/2020. These courses are suited to students who are experienced in drama or musical theatre and who wish to apply the skills they have developed through focused performance work.

Entrance onto these courses is by audition only! Auditions take place on September 21 (Young Performers Company and Youth Theatre Company) and 22 (Musical Theatre Company)
