It has been reported in the Independent this morning that an incident took place at 7pm on Wednesday last , where a 10 year old boy witnessed a naked man hiding near the prefab buildings of Castleknock Community College, Dublin 15. The boy described the man as being bald, 5 feet ten inches and around 35 years old.

This incident comes after it emerged earlier this week that a woman in her late 30s was attacked as she walked through the park at 7.30am on Saturday. This happened at the Tir na nOg Park in Castleknock which is minutes from the school.

The Gardai have made no arrests for either incident and are investigating whether there is any link between the two. In the meantime the surrounding schools have been put on the alert.

The Principal of Castleknock Community College, John Cronin, warned parents to “remind their daughters and sons to be extremely careful”.
