Each week, the Minister will select several items of artwork to be placed on the easel in her office, for display.

The artwork may be photographed and shared on the Department’s twitter and Instagram accounts. Where provided and permission is given, the names of the children and the school will be published.

Please print and fill out a consent form with your artwork. The consent form is available to download here.

Children can submit a short piece with their art on what they have portrayed and why.

Individual children and class groups are invited to send their drawings, paintings and other two-dimensional artworks measuring ideally A4 size but no more than 1m length x.80m height for display to:

The Minister’s Easel, Department of Education, Marlborough Street, Dublin, D01 RC96.

Please note that you should take a photo of the artwork before sending it, as it will not be possible to return the artworks.
