Top college progression schools in Ulster

Posted by Sally O'Brien, on 19/02/2015. Top college progression schools in Ulster

The college progression data published on Schooldays.ie and in many of the national newspapers in November 2014 provides information on how schools are performing with regard to the number of students who have graduated from secondary school and have been accepted at college and universities around Ireland. The information is based on data released by all the universities and third level colleges to Schooldays.ie.

College progression data doesn't tell the full story for a variety of reasons, including the fact that they don't reflect the extraordinary lengths that schools and individual teachers go to in order to get disadvantaged students passed the exam line.

However, they do form part of the information which parents may wish to consider when choosing a school to suit their child, and for that reason, it is useful to look at the information provided.
