Students who sat the deferred Leaving Certificate Examinations in the autumn of 2020 will receive their results next Tuesday, 2nd February.
The results will be available online from noon on 2nd February 2021 on the Examinations Student Portal. Students shoudl ensure they are registered on the Portal in order to view their results. Registration details can be found here.
Students who did not receive Calculated Grades will be provided with their Examination Results. However students who did recieve calculated grades and who also sat the Leaving Certificate in Autumn 2020, will be notified of the higher subject grade achieved between the Calculated Grade and the written examination.
Students who are become entitled to a higher CAO offer on the basis of these results will received a college offer to start their course in the 2021/22 academic year. It is expected that Higher education institutions making improved offers to students will communicate the offers week commencing 8th February.
The Examinations Commission has said that if a student who has started first year of a course becomes entitled to a higher CAO offer following the written examinations, and chooses to accept this offer in the 2021/22 academic year, attendance for the first year on the new course will remain eligible for free fees and SUSI funding as appropriate.
Leaving Certificate Applied Examination results will be issued directly to candidates by email and Junior Certificate examination results for adult learns and early school leavers will be sent to the centres where they sat the examinations.
